Pier 28 At CLayton Bay
In early 2023, a family of local residents in Clayton Bay envisioned the establishment of a quality-focused café and restaurant, addressing a gap in one of South Australia’s cherished hidden gems, Clayton Bay. Their aim was to contribute to the burgeoning popularity of the town and stimulate tourism. Anticipating future demand from the flourishing Fleurieu regions and aspiring to create a warm and inviting atmosphere known as “the hub” for the locals, they developed a business model.
This vision paved the way for a comprehensive initiative, ranging from serving high-quality food with fresh ingredients to the complete renovation of the old Sails café, transforming it into the establishment we know today – Pier 28. The endeavor laid down robust foundations for this exciting, long-term venture.
We take pride in providing diverse food services to our local community, emphasizing the use of fresh ingredients on a daily basis. Our commitment to quality has earned us respect from local suppliers, and we strive to maintain reasonable pricing for our extensive wine, food, and beverage offerings.
